Who we are
This policy describes how BestOption (bestoption.net) handles personal information. Contact support@bestoption.net for privacy requests.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account data you submit, such as your email address and a password hash.
- Usage and browsing data, such as pages viewed, approximate device and browser details, and referring URLs.
- Support messages you send to us.
- Payment status from our payment processor when a paid plan is active. We do not store full card numbers.
Cookies
We use a necessary cookie to keep you signed in. Advertising and measurement partners may set cookies or similar identifiers to remember a visit, measure traffic, and understand which ads led to a signup. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking them may limit sign-in or measurement.
Google Ads and analytics
We use Google Ads (gtag.js) to measure advertising and conversions, including a conversion event when a new account is created. Google may receive identifiers such as cookie IDs, truncated IP address, and event data (for example that a signup occurred). We may also use privacy-friendly site analytics for aggregate page counts. This processing is used to run and measure the Service, not to sell your personal information. Google’s own privacy terms describe how Google uses data it receives: policies.google.com/privacy.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, provide the screener, secure the Service, respond to support, measure advertising, and meet legal duties. We do not sell email lists.
Deletion requests
Email support@bestoption.net from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete or anonymize the account email and related profile data within 30 days, except where we must keep a record for fraud prevention, tax, or a legal claim. Deleting an account does not erase data that Google already received under its own policies; you can also use Google’s ads settings to control ad personalization.
Retention and sharing
We keep account data while the account is open and for a short period afterward. We share data with infrastructure and payment providers only as needed to run the Service, and when the law requires it.
